The big hills get all the headlines, big dollars, fashionista’s and traffic but there are several smaller family or co-op Montana ski resort/ski area operations that are near and dear to their respective local crowds who come back year after year to enjoy a little lower key skiing experience. Maverick Mountain ski area is a perfect example. Located near Polaris which is a short ride northwest of Dillon, Maverick is the local hill and a slice of local life.
Don”t forget, Big Sky Resort up to 65% off sale ends 4/30/2012. From Big Sky’s current press release…
Big Sky Resort announced another early season pass sale this spring, offering Adult Gold Season Passes for just $799 +tax and Junior Gold Season Passes for an unprecedented low price of $299 +tax when bought in conjunction with an Adult Gold Pass. Sale prices are available until April 30th. “When you take into account the terrain, snow, and number of ski days you get when you buy a season pass, these prices give you amazing bang for your buck,” said Chad Jones, Big Sky Resort’s Public Relations Manager. “We’re so happy people are taking advantage of this, and the best part is, more skiers don’t equal crowds here. Our massive terrain and lift capacity maintain one of Big Sky’s best assets: virtually no lift lines!”
